PHP WordPress Developer

LOCATION New Delhi · India TYPE Full Time · In Office EXPERIENCE 1–3 years SALARY 2.4–3.6 LPA

We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join our software development and marketing team. As a junior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

We expect you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends, responsive web development practices, and modern content management systems.

Responsibilities

  • 01
    Execute assigned development projects. Work closely with senior developers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

    Design and build website front-end. Create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.

    Manage website back-end development. Build and maintain WordPress functionalities, database integration, and server-side logic.
  • 04
    Create custom themes and plugins. Develop scalable and reusable WordPress themes and plugins tailored to project requirements.

    Conduct website performance testing. Ensure fast loading speed, responsiveness, and smooth user experience.
  • 06
    Troubleshoot website issues. Resolve content, layout, styling, and technical issues efficiently.

    Monitor live website performance. Maintain stability, updates, and overall health of production websites.

Candidate profile

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.
  • Good understanding of PHP back-end development and WordPress architecture.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Ability to convert layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages.
  • Experience with responsive website development and browser compatibility testing.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
