I own a business (in-fact, a few). Costs are a real challenge for me because I am constantly playing the push and pull game with money. Thoughts like “Should I hire people now to be ready for more business in the future or should I save money and scramble when business actually comes in”, are constantly doing their rounds in my mind. And this is my constant especially while considering my telemarketing strategies.
What Is Telemarketing?
The typical mental picture that most people bring up in their minds when they think about what is telemarketing, is that of being irritated by a caller asking you if you’d like to buy insurance, or have a home loan requirement (Actually it can get worse…you could get a phone call and a robot will ask you that question). This is probably the worst example of telemarketing…but what’s more compelling is that these calls are still being made and that your phone is still ringing! And best example of telemarketing is cold calling.
